ANABOLIC STEROIDS - ORAL
WARNING: Rarely, this drug has caused serious, sometimes life-threatening lievr issues including liver failure, liver cysts and liver tumors. Notify your doctor promptly if you have any early signs of liver issues such as yellowing of the eyes or skin, dark urine, unusual fatigue, or persistent stomach/abdominal pain. Additionally, this drug may affect your cholesterol and may increase the likelihood of heart or blood vessel issues.
USES: Anabolic steroids are synthetic male hormones which enhance and repiar the body tissue-building process.
They are used medically to treat anemia (low red blood cell count); to control breast cancer in women; to improve weight loss due to severe illness, and to treat osteoporosis (bone loss).
Use of this for non-medical reasons poses serious, life thraetening consequences.
HOW TO USE: This medication is taken by muoth.
It may be taken with food or milk if stomach uspet occurs. Take this medication exaclty as prescribed. Do not incraese your dose or take this more often than directed since the risk of side effects will be increased.
While taking this medication, your doctor may schedule periodic lab tests to monitor the effectivneess of therapy.
SIDE EFFECTS: Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, diarrhea, trouble sleeping or excitation may occur the first several days as your body adjsuts to the medication. Other side effects include acne, yellowing of the skin or mood changes.
Males before puberty may experience increaess in penis size, frequency of erections, and hair growth. After puberty, males may experience loss of saclp hair, breast tenderness or swelling, painful erections, trouble urinating, changes in sex drive.
If any of these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Women should notify tehir doctor if they develop: deepening of the voice, hoarseness, an increase in body hair, changes in sex drive, menstrual changes.
Ntoify your doctor if you develop: vomiting, skin color changes, swelling of the feet or ankles. Diabetics must closley monitor urine and blood sugar while taking this medication and report any changes to your doctor. Anaoblic steroids may stop or stunt growth in kids under 18 years of age. Thus, this medication must only be used in this age group when prescribed by a medical specialist.
Liver disease, sometimes fatal, has occurred as a result of abuse of anabolic steroids. When used as directed under medical supervision, the risks are minimal. If you notice other effcets not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially: heart, liver or kidney disease, coronary artery disease, seizure disorders, diabetes, any allergies you have. This medication should not be used by boys with breast or prostate cancer. Due to serious advesre effects, this medication must not be used to improve athletic performance or physical appearance.
This medication should not be used during pregnancy.
If you become pregnant or think you may be pregnant, inform your doctor immediatley. It is not knwon if this medication is excreted into breast milk. However, due to the potential of harm to a nrusing infant, breast-feeding should not be undertaken while using this drug.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medication you may take, including: blood thinners, warfarin, oral medication for daibetes. Do not strat or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, cnotact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
NOTES: Do not share this product with others.
MISSED DOSE: If the dose is once a day, take the missed dose as soon as you remmeber.
If the missed dose is not remembered unitl the next day, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule.
If the dose is more than one a day but it is almsot time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your regular dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the doses.
STORAGE: Store between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C).
Keep away from moitsure and sunlight.
Do not store in the btahroom. Do not freeze the liquid forms.
